Our Pre-Casa Program provides a nurturing Montessori environment where children build independence, confidence, and a love of learning through purposeful hands-on experiences and discovery.
Practical Life & Independence
Everyday activities help children develop independence and confidence. Pouring, transferring, tidying materials, preparing simple snacks, and caring for their environment strengthen concentration, coordination, responsibility, and self-care skills.
Language & Communication
Stories, songs, conversations, vocabulary activities, and Montessori language materials encourage children to express themselves and communicate with confidence. These experiences support listening, comprehension, vocabulary development, and early literacy.
Sensorial Exploration
Children discover the world through their senses. Montessori materials introduce concepts such as colour, shape, size, texture, sound, and dimension, helping children develop observation, concentration, comparison, and problem-solving skills.
Early Mathematics
Counting, sorting, matching, sequencing, and working with quantities introduce mathematical thinking in a concrete and engaging way. Children begin developing an understanding of numbers and patterns through hands-on exploration.
Movement & Coordination
Purposeful movement is an important part of the Pre-Casa experience. Activities that involve carrying, pouring, threading, building, drawing, and movement help strengthen fine and gross motor skills, balance, coordination, and control.
Social & Emotional Development
Children learn to participate in a classroom community by practising kindness, taking turns, communicating their needs, respecting others, and caring for their environment. Educators gently guide children as they develop confidence and positive relationships.
Preparing for Casa
Pre-Casa creates a natural bridge into the Casa Program. As children become comfortable with Montessori routines, materials, and classroom expectations, they develop the independence, concentration, communication skills, and curiosity needed to confidently take their next step in learning.
